Purchased in 1979 and 1990, respectively, The Airway Buildings were initially used to accommodate aircraft antenna engineering and manufacturing company, and were used for the engineering and manufacturing of their world-wide navigation system, Ontrac II, which utilized Intel Corporation’s first microprocessor ever sold. These operating businesses were then sold to Rockwell International in 1979 while the buildings were retained by the original owners and leased to other operating companies and various Airlines, until they were sold in 2015.
